"Salt" - SOLD

I cleaned out our storage unit recently and came across an old painting I painted a few years ago. I thought it would be fun to recreate the painting. The old one below is 24"x20", and probably the only time I have painted an object that small so large. I thought the colors were non conventional but still intriguing. This old painting is pretty beat up...Maybe I should take care of my older paintings.

Hi Aaron, I admire how you make that simple salt shaker look so interesting. Wow! And I love how the orange background glows. Holly

Hi Aaron,

I like the old and the new. It's interesting to see your progression
into abstraction.

Super as always.

I can see the movement toward simplification between the two paintings. They are both gorgeous and the background color is clean and rich!

Fascinating! I think the new one is more streamlined and more interesting. Wonderful progress.

I really like these. There's something real about them.....and there's something searingly artful about them.
